Supermoon Around the world

A rare celestial spectacle will unfold on Saturday, as the moon will be at its closest point to the earth. This rare phenomenon known as 'Supermoon' last occurred 18 years back. The appearance of the moon larger and closer to the earth has had people talking about natural calamities such as earthquakes and tsunami that may be triggered during this period. Many astrologers have linked the Japan earthquake and subsequent Tsunami to the closeness of the moon to the earth.
